Yingling prayer update for June 2010

Dear family, friends and partners,

** Praise the Lord with us! – We have found a house in Wills Point, TX (about 50 min. east of Dallas) which will be our home beginning in mid-August.  We will take a one year “home assignment” which will allow us to help Josiah and Brianna get oriented to the U.S. and college.  Starting in Jan. 2011 we look forward to visiting with many of you as we travel to visit supporters and prayer partners in various parts of the U.S.  Scott will continue work full time with the ObreroFiel internet ministry team and not have to take those long trips from Mexico to Dallas for meetings.

** Praise the Lord with us! -  The ObreroFiel internet ministry continues to grow.  We have added paid staff this year to help with various new ministry opportunities.  We are also recruiting 500 volunteers to email thousands of new contacts around the world who are asking for spiritual help and guidance.

The Yinglings’ Top 4 Prayer Requests for June 2010

1. Pray for results from thousands of World Cup soccer tracts that have been distributed in different cities in Mexico..  Pray that God would use these popular tracts to draw people to Himself.  The world cup in South Africa runs from June 11 to July 11.

2. Pray for our team in San Juan as we host 6 short term missions teams from the U.S. and 2 interns this summer.  The first team arrives Sat., June 12 and the interns arrive the following Sat,, June 19.  We basically have one team after another until Aug. 7 and then hope to leave for the U.S. around Aug. 9th.  The focus will be continued construction of the community outreach center and different types of outreach activities.

3. Pray for a good finish to our home school year this month amidst a lot of special events and activities..  Josiah is graduating from high school!  Pray that God would guide his future steps as he continues to wait on Him for direction.

Thanking God for your partnership in the ministry,

Scott & Ruth

This sign outside the center shows the desire of the center– to provide different services and ultimately impact people’s hearts. Continue to pray for these varied ministries.

Photo #3: Aron participated in the guitar class at the community center this past semester. He is pictured here with his class playing during the graduation exercises.

Photo #4 The world cup tract was printed by Ediciones Las Americas in Puebla, Mexico. It has a schedule for the games on one side and a gospel presentation on the other. We trust God will use this tract in the lives of many people this month.
