Yingling prayer & praise update for February 2010
Dear family, friends and partners,
** Praise the Lord with us! – Josiah has made it safely to Israel and is one week into his 2.5 week visit there.
** Praise the Lord with us! – Scott’s ObreroFiel meetings in Dallas went very well. The team at our home offices in Dallas is really getting behind this ministry in new, significant ways.
** Praise the Lord with us! – God has faithfully provided for our support needs for 20 years that we have served with CAM.
The Yinglings’ Top 4 Prayer Requests for February 2010
1. Pray for Daniel Kendal (Ruth’s dad) who is in the hospital in McAllen, TX with 2 tumors that are blocking liver and pancreas functions. They appear to be inoperable. Pray for us as we are currently in Texas helping Ruth’s mom and visiting with Dan daily at the hospital.
2. Pray for Josiah as he takes a study trip to Israel. He returns to Mexico around Feb. 14th. (they are standby tickets) Continue to pray for safe travels and God’s leading as he considers his future.
3. Pray for the ObreroFiel team as we are in “crunch time” to finish changes to the new 3.0 version of the web site which will go live on March 1.
4. Pray for wisdom as Scott begins to write and develop online discipleship courses which we will offer to people asking for spiritual help online.
Scott & Ruth

Photo #1: Ruth’s entire extended family (parents, 2 sisters and their families) all work in Mexico as missionaries with different organizations in different cities. We all enjoyed our last time together (between Thanksgiving and Christmas). Ruth’s Dad (center of the sofa in the picture) is facing 2 inoperable tumors on the ducts between the liver, pancreas and small intestine. Each family is arranging schedules so that someone can be with Beverly to help visit and care for Dan. They have served as missionaries for 47 years in Guatemala, Mexico and in Hispanic USA.

Photo #2: ObreroFiel’s partnership with GMO is now formalized. GMO specializes in finding people on the internet that are searching for spiritual help, giving them a simple gospel presentation and encouraging a response. While they have sites in 14 different languages, their 4 Spanish sites have out-performed the other languages as far as percentage of response and numbers of contacts. Late last year they came to ObreroFiel for help. Our specialty is encouraging, educating and equipping Spanish-speaking believers through internet technologies. ObreroFiel will take the number at the bottom of the funnel (379,829) and help GMO make initial contact by email with each person that has asked for help. Scott is working hard to have a basic discipleship course ready to use with interested contacts by April 1. We hope to have a second discipleship course ready by June 1. In addition we are developing a database of local evangelical churches throughout Latin America so that we can lead our online contacts to good churches for fellowship and service.
